A blog site based on my PhD research in the School of Archaeology, University College Dublin (UCD) which investigates the archaeological potential of the Irish uplands using the Blackstairs Mountains, South East Ireland as a special case study (supervised by Dr. Robert Sands).

The project is kindly funded by Archaeolandscapes Europe. Remote Sensing data for the project is provided by DigitalGlobe and Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. The project is also a member of the SNAPS & West Lothian Archaeology Group group which has kindly provided kite aerial photography equipment.
